Leena Evic

Leena Tatiggaq Evic is a dedicated Inuit advocate, speaker, educator, and entrepreneur. She founded the Pirurvik Centre for Inuit Language, Culture and Wellbeing in Iqaluit. The Centre offers programs and courses in Inuktitut for Inuit students, accredited through a partnership with the University of Victoria. Their Makimaniq Program focuses on Reclaiming the Whole Woman and Reclaiming the Whole Man wellbeing initiatives.
